SMS Opt-In Process (Verbal Consent)
Yam Digital Marketing LTD operates a field-service scheduling platform for its home-service cleaning brands. SMS consent is collected verbally, during inbound calls initiated by the customer, and is standalone — never bundled with any other agreement.
Opt-in script used by our receptionists
“Would you like a text confirmation of your appointment? You’ll receive appointment-related text messages from us — message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”
Only customers who answer yes receive messages. Messages are limited to appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, and service follow-ups related to the customer’s own booking. Internal staff recipients have explicitly requested lead notifications.
Sample message
“Hi John, this is Bell Air Duct confirming your air duct cleaning appointment on Sunday between 10 AM and 1 PM. Our technician will call you before arriving. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
